MemberHi,
I have both a walking foot cylinder arm and normal flat bed machine and I was wondering if you know of any attachments that fold and stitch 1-1.5cm straps? Or at least something that folds the edges of the leather in evenly so that making straps isn’t so manual?
I have been handmaking basic leather bags for a while and find straps so annoying! My orders are picking up so I need upgrade my process!
Thanks,
Emma

KeymasterYes, you want a folder for industrial machine. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LSNKea86Q4s
Pay close attention to the strap that is coming out without a filler inside.
Here is another link http://www.atlatt.com/apparel/EQUIPMNT/folders/index.htmlMake sure the folders are for your machine, different folders for different strap sizes.

MemberHi Richard,
Thanks for you reply.
How would I manage the bulkiness of the leather at the edge turn with an attachment like this?

Would I skive the edges of the leather only?
Thanks,
Emma
